Anna Koivu

I was born in Helsinki, Finland, in 1971. I worked in travel throughout my twenties, based in Italy, Morocco and India.

 I’ve lived in London since 2001 and I’ve been full time in property for 19 years, both as an investor and a developer. I know the ins and outs of development and I set up a new company, Coast 2 Coast Living Ltd, in 2020.

I teamed up with David who is my builder and contractor and we own the company with a 50-50 share. We concentrate on refurbishment and new build but we also source and negotiate deals for other investors.

My story is a story of how far teamwork can take you. And how you can become a developer or investor without using your own funds.

I’d love to talk about property development and investing and perhaps also from the point of view of being a woman in a field that is still male dominated.
