“When your inner glass ceiling breaks, nothing can hold you back. Mindset is everything.”

Getting to know Joey, her background, her business now, how she got to know and became involved with Global Woman, and then the Regional Director. Why she loves it and her own vision and personal perspective for growing Global Woman Club in San Francisco and connecting globally.

As CEO of Joey Garcia & Associates, an international coaching and consulting company, I specialize in helping women transformemotional challenges into the jet fuel they need to fast track career and personal success.I’m a multi-passionate entrepreneur with a deep background in corporate public relations, media, education, and alternative medicine. I would love to help you quickly attract satisfying, loving, and deeply fulfilling relationships and experiences.

As a professional speaker, I’ve wowed audiences in New York, San Francisco, Stockholm, Los Angeles, Sacramento, Brazil, and Belize with my unique take on personal growth, relationships, communication, spirituality, and creativity.

I was born in the tiny Caribbean nation of Belize, a tropical paradise. When I was a toddler, my family immigrated to the beautiful San Francisco Bay Area where I grew up. Learning about the many healers in my family inspired me to train and become certified in alternative medicine, spiritual counseling, energy work, meditation, yoga, and personal coaching. I’ve been featured in, “The Cure” a documentary produced by Sharon Stone, directed by Emmanuel Itier, and featuring Dr. Ervin Lazlo, Barbara Marx Hubbard, Deepak Chopra and other respected healers. My work has also been featured on PBS TV, PBS radio and Global Woman TV.

For more than 20 years, I’ve written “Ask Joey,” a relationship advice column reaching 300,000 weekly readers online and in print. I’m currently the Relationship Expert for a network television station and an iHeart Radio talk show host. My book, “When Your Heart Breaks, It’s Opening to Love: Healing and finding love after an affair, heartbreak or divorce,” won a national Bronze Living Now award, for books that inspire people to be more tolerant and forgiving. I’ve received poetry fellowships to Paris, and Spole to, Italy, and I’m listed in the prestigious Directory of Writers published by Poets & Writers magazine.

My passion for writing inspired me to launch the Belize Writers’ Conference, the first writer’s conference ever held in my native Belize. In 2017,I established the first fellowship for a Belize an writer in the country’s history. At the Belize Writers’ Conference,I’m on faculty, along with New York literary agents, to teach memoir, fiction, and nonfiction writers how to become authorpreneurs. I’m also a nonprofit leader.

Since 2004, I’ve has channeled my passion for social justice into Rise Up Belize !Advancement through Education, an organization I founded, that has improved the lives of more than a thousand children and teachers in Belize. Through Rise Up Belize! I also established a six-months leadership program that has trained more than 100 teen girls in skills that translate to workplace success.

In 2018, I was delighted to be a finalist for the Global Woman Club Influencer Award. Imagine receiving an invitation from Mirela Sula to attend the Global Woman Club Summit in July in New York City! It was a life defining moment.

The Summit was extraordinary. That evening, I looked across the ballroom and saw women from all over the world celebrating each other. These incredibly warm and accomplished womenare focused on breaking their inner glass ceilings and nourishing the mindset to break outer glass ceilings. In that moment I knew I wanted to belong to Global Woman Club!

The following Monday I attended the Global Woman Club New York breakfast meeting and joined as a member. A few months later, Iwas a speaker at the Global Woman Club Stockholm Business Networking Event in Sweden. The Global Woman Club is a dynamic, powerful platform for women to build their relationships, businesses, and net worth worldwide. I’m thrilled to be a Regional Director and to connect San Francisco women to this empowering and supportive international network.

I’d love to talk with you about my coaching, consulting, and events. Let’s connect:
