About Bridgitte Smith
Bridgitte Smith – Regional Director Silicon Valley
Bridgitte is a trailblazing entrepreneur, investor, and educator who transformed her journey from modest beginnings into a dynamic career spanning media, technology, and venture capital. Growing up in a small town with limited resources, she aspired to be on TV, and with the encouragement of a mentor, pursued higher education. This pivotal decision led to roles as a print reporter, talk show host, and commentator, earning her over 100 awards and magazine covers. Despite her success, Bridgitte sought financial stability and pivoted to a 25-year tech career, culminating in executive roles, including a senior position at Google. Her exposure to Silicon Valley’s innovation ecosystem fueled her passion for investing, leading her to launch a prolific portfolio in early-stage companies and venture capital funds.
Since 2021, Bridgitte has invested in over 22 VC funds, 400+ portfolio companies, and 30+ startups. She has trained more than 6,000 women on startup investing and guided 800+ founders in refining pitch decks and raising capital. A true multifaceted investor, her portfolio spans crypto, stocks, bonds, real estate, and private equity. Bridgitte credits her success to her faith, positivity, and relentless pursuit of knowledge, living by the belief that all things are possible through Christ. Her inspiring journey serves as a testament to the transformative power of education, perseverance, and community-driven impact.
