Global Woman Club Activities based on our Values
It has evolved from Global Woman magazine, sharing so many great and inspirational stories and often bringing these women together to connect and share in person. Speak to anyone who has attended and they will say that it is unique and different to any other networking event they have been to. It has a warm, relaxed and supportive energy, and everyone is open and authentic.
It is about building relationships and seeking mutually beneficial collaborations from a rich cultural diversity of women, very successful in what they do, but in such a broad range of professions and businesses.
What we share in common is to serve a social and human good and purpose in whatever we do. For the entrepreneurs, it is to profit with a purpose. For career professionals, it is to succeed with a purpose. We often refer to it as the ‘Life purpose’.
It is the combination of all these magical ingredients that sprinkle a glowing sense of empowerment and happiness. United we are stronger and ready to face any challenges we are experiencing or may meet.
The Club that became a movement
Global Woman Club started in a London office in March 2016, which evolved from Global Woman magazine, a quarterly publication founded by Mirela Sula, started one year before.
In December 2016 it moved to a grand venue cafe/restaurant setting in Piccadilly Circus London and now we run our meetings at our office in central London. With an expansion that began in September 2017, by the end of 2020 Global Woman Club will be in 25 locations in 19 countries, with 4 magazines and 8 books published, alongside media and branding training and in October 2019 we launched the online Global Woman Academy, packed with great video content of top interviews, speaker presentations, and tips and advice.
Global Woman, apart from club meetings, organises big conference events in different cities and countries around the world. Once a year we bring all the members together in London at the Global Woman Summit and Awards, so we can all meet each other, celebrate and accelerate success.
Our model is organic growth where women come to Global Woman events and Global Woman Club Business breakfasts. Through the relationships built, we find a new Regional Director for a new location, who more often than not approaches us to open a club.
